The website's current design exhibits signs of obsolescence, requiring a contemporary touch. Public pages pose navigational challenges, while certain content necessitates revision and condensation due to its verbosity. Furthermore, the website currently lacks a clear content hierarchy and fails to accentuate critical information, despite its evident potential.

Fundvantage.ca is taking a transformative step by revamping its website home page, user portal, and dashboard. The redesign will prioritize modernization, user-friendliness, and content clarity to unlock the platform's potential and empower users to access crucial funding intelligence seamlessly

Considering the personas and research data, we aim to address the specific problem through a targeted question.

How can we streamline the fostering program and establish standardized procedures, while also creating a dedicated space for foster parents to share knowledge and experiences?

After revamping the design layout of the website's homepage and user portal, we introduced an interactive element to enhance the user experience. This feature is designed to guide users through their journey, helping them easily find what they need and assisting them step-by-step until they complete their application.

Key takeaway

User-Centric Design is Paramount

Throughout the project, it became evident that prioritizing user needs and preferences is crucial. User feedback and testing played a pivotal role in shaping the final design decisions.

Establishing a clear content hierarchy and improving navigation significantly enhanced the user experience. Users appreciated the ease of finding and accessing relevant information.
